Blister pack recyling scheme
At Nutravet, we’re dedicated to the environment and as part of that we’ve partnered with with MyGroup who offer a zero waste solution to reduce the amount of unnecessary landfill waste.
As a result, customers can now send their empty blister packs back to us for recycling. The empty blisters are sent for separating, and the plastic and aluminium are both recycled separately into various products and other manufacturing processes.
Some key points about why we’re working with MyGroup:
- Globally, health and veterinary care waste accounts for over 4% of all CO2 emissions and 1-2% of all urban waste.
- MyGroup recycle every material into alternative products so no waste is created from any part of the packaging.
